Deft Focus: Heroes with lots of Superpower Cards

That's right!  Magneto is out and he has three more Deft Focus cards for your collection.  I build whole box,  so that helps three more of my decks.  Even among Uber Munchkin expert solo custom deck designers,  it's common to place one in a deck with superpowers.  Here are the heroes who can get the best benefit from having one in their deck.

Note that several of these heroes actually have more Superpower cards than are shown here, but I filtered out the Zero-cost Superpowers because Deft Focus wouldn't help with them.  Heroes who have less than 6 superpower cards are not shown here. Also, superpower event cards which activate on the villain phase aren't counted, because a strict interpretation of the rules reads that Deft Focus can only be used on the hero phase.  Nova has 8, but he is left out because 6 of his Superpower cards have a wild resource doubling effect, so reducing the cost doesn't usually help.  Also, Jubilee is included, but she might not want to use Deft Focus, because she gets bonuses for each resource she spends.

Also there are three basic aspect cards which have the superpower trait, and two of them are only available to heroes with 14 base hp or higher, so that might favor Colossus, or even Thor or She Hulk: Unshakeable,  and Limitless Stamina.  

Invulnerability is open to all heroes,  so that might go well in a deck with Deft Focus.  

Currently, Groot, Quicksilver, and Spectrum have Deft Focus.  I can’t wait to add to Vision, Spider Woman, and Shadowcat.  Vision and Spiderwoman, especially just rock with Deft Focus.

Why?  For one cost, it gives a one discount on superpower cards --which are mostly hero cards, and hero cards are usually more powerful than aspect cards.  Basically, your best cards are one cheaper.

Multiplayer / Whole Box Deck Building / GMW difficulty level

Non-negotiables + Whole Box Building Goals / Limitations Because of my limited options for deck building, what if we are never able to do some of the harder villains?  For me, I don’t care.  I like the team role-specific puzzle aspect to it.  I want something that plays easy on game night.  My friends are learning the game –they’re not going to sit around for an hour doing deck-building for a game they’ve never played.  I need a box of playable heroes ready to go.  For me it’s less deck-building, and more deck-tweaking.  Every once in a while I’ll do some aspect swapping. I'll never play solo for Marvel Champions. I like the puzzle of how to pair aspects and heroes to create a good team. Note on ally dispersal in Aspect decks for whole box building. Adam Warlock Home Rules

 Ad am War lock Home Rules Here's my custom set for Adam Warlock.  Note that there are only a few hero decks which have major problems for me: Adam, Hulk, She Hulk, and Ms Marvel.  Finally, I'll probably make all the "team" cards discardable upgrades instead of unreliable events. Implementing house rules was tricky, because there's really not enough room on Adam's hero card to write anything.  Adding the rules to cards which get shuffled into your deck is sketchy: you might not get them when you need them.  We're back to Adam's original problem --he needs certain cards, but he ends up discarding them, and can't get them back.  Instead, I added two rules on two cards in order to give him a better chance to start controlling his discard pile.   The Karmic Staff and   Warlock's Cape have new rules on them.  Originally, I made an extra hero card called " Counter-Earth " which had the extra two rules on it, but that felt weird giving h...
