Card Spotlight: Team Building Exercise
Team Building Exercise
This is another card spotlight. It's an easy resource discount card, but with dual-traited heroes, it's not as niche as I first thought. Among the solo player base, this card is often overlooked, as there are better options for most decks. However, for those of us struggling with whole box deckbuilding, this is a good option to boost the economy of a few decks.
This comes in Ant Man's, Spider Ham's, and Iceman's decks, but certainly, the Avenger trait in Leadership is easy to build on. Aerial can be amazing while combining with Avengers, Xmen, or Champions. Psionic can combine with Xmen or X-force. Iceman has a nice combo with his Ice cards. Asgard also combines with Avengers, and Thor hits the trifecta with Asgard, Avengers, and Aerial from Mjolnir.
Interesting heroes for Team Building Exercise:
- Black Widow - Avenger, SHIELD
- Thor (3) - Avenger, Asgard, Aerial
- Valkyrie (3) - Avenger, Asgard, (can get aerial)
- Spectrum - Avenger, Aerial
- Ironheart - Champion, (version 2 Aerial)
- Maria Hill - SHIELD, Spy
- Falcon - Aerial, Avenger
- Nova - Champion, Aerial
- Angel - Xmen, Aerial
- Phoenix - Xmen, Psionic
- Psylocke - X-force, Psionic
- Nick Fury - SHIELD, Soldier, Spy
- Iceman - Xmen, Ice
In my decks,
Thor has 14 Asgaard, Aerial, or Avenger traited cards.
Angel has 18 Aerial or X-Force cards (more, but some are interrupts, and TBE is a hero action).
Falcon has 19 Avenger or Aerial cards
Iceman has 18 Ice or X-Men cards
Phoenix has 21 Psionic, X-Men, or Aerial cards
Psylocke has 13 Psionic or X-Force cards
Maria Hill has 17 Shield cards
Nick Fury has 13 Shield cards
